WORKSHOP ON ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT

Today’s business world is constantly changing — its unpredictable, volatile, and seems to become more complex every day. By its very nature, it is fraught with risk. Enterprise risk management not only is a comprehensive, systematic approach for helping the organisation to identify, measure, prioritize and respond to the risks, it is also critical when setting your company’s strategy. The workshop will address the following issues:

2. The Risk Governance: Corporate governance and the role of the Board and Management
3. An overview of the global business and risk environment
4. The Risk Strategy, Risk Appetite and Risk Profile
5. The Risk Monitoring and Reporting and Risk Culture
6. The new ISO 31000 international risk standard
7. COSO Enterprise Risk Management – Integrated Framework
8. The core attributes of emerging and future risks, tools, techniques and models for predicting future risks
9. The Risks of Technology and Innovation
10. Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

 The workshop will be held on Wednesday, 25^th to Friday, 27^th April 2018 at the Pride Inn Paradise, Mombasa. Charges are Kshs. 50,000 for members and Kshs. 60,000 for non-members. The charges are subject to VAT. Members in attendance will be awarded 20 CPD Hours.
