The combined assurance model is beneficial by providing a coordinated approach to all assurance activities and minimizing disruptions to business and operations, ensuring efficient use of resources, and eliminating duplication of efforts. Implementation of the combined assurance approach has however proved to be problematic for Internal Audit departments.
This workshop will equip participants on the development and implementation of the combined assurance model.
The workshop will cover:
- Combined Assurance and how it works.
- Key steps to get started with Combined Assurance.
- Elements of Combined Assurance.
- Core principles of combined Assurance.
- Improving Risk Management through Combined Assurance.
- Implementing combined Assurance principles.
- Combined Assurance and Integrated Reporting.
The workshop will be held from June 19-23, 2023 at Sarova Whitesands Hotel, Mombasa. Charges are KES 54,000 and KES 59,000 exclusive of VAT for members and non-members respectively. Members in attendance will earn 20 CPE Hours.
NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL TRAINING AUTHORITY ACCREDITATION:
The Institute of Internal Auditors Kenya is an accredited training provider with the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA). The NITA registration number is NITA/TRN/558(25b). Participants who are registered levy contributors can apply to NITA for reimbursement of their fees. This applies to Kenyan citizens and is subject to NITA regulations.
