Professional standards from the Global Institute of Internal Auditors have elevated the Internal Audit function in the financial services sector including SACCOs from traditional reporting lines and remuneration to focus on emerging areas including governance, culture, and corporate events. Prudential guidelines and recommendations from the SACCO Societies Regulatory Authority recommendations emphasize supporting Internal Audit functions to carry out effective management of key risks.
This workshop will focus on equipping internal audit functions for SACCOs to proactively increase their relevance to organizations in light of increasing scrutiny, pressure, and regulatory requirements while complying with IIA professional standards. The workshop targets Members of Supervisory committees for SACCOs and their Internal Auditors.

This course will be held from July 5-8, 2022 at Grand Royal Swiss Hotel, Kisumu. Charges are KES 55,000 and KES 60,000 exclusive of VAT for Members and Non-Members respectively. Members in attendance will earn 20 CPE Hours.
