Agility makes Internal audits and Internal Auditors able to add value fast in response to disruptions and evolving risks faced by the organization. To enhance and protect organizational value, Internal Auditors make use of agile software development methodologies and an agile mindset to support innovations in the internal audit process.

This workshop takes the mystery out of agility and prepares internal audit activity on how to become agile.

The workshop will cover:

• Overview of the values and principles of Agility.
• Scrum framework: Managing complexity in the internal audit engagement process.
• Measures that drive Agile ways of working.
• Compatibility of Agility with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards).
• Misconceptions about Agile auditing and alignment with IPPF.
• Opportunities to practice Agile auditing.
• Practical ways to be lean and agile.
• Key Lean techniques for insight.
• Reappraise reporting and action-planning in Agile Auditing.

The workshop will be held from December 6-9, 2022 at Sarova Whitesands Hotel, Mombasa. Charges are KES 55,000 and KES 60,000 exclusive of VAT for members and non-members respectively. Members in attendance will earn 20 CPE Hours.

The Institute of Internal Auditors Kenya is an accredited training provider with the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA). The NITA registration number is NITA/TRN/558(25b).
