Management focuses on initiatives and issues that impact the operating models of business activities and processes, such as environmental stewardship, operational excellence, supply chain optimization, offshoring, talent mobility, innovation, and cloud computing. Given the complexities of processes involved, Internal Audit is in a unique position to influence value enhancement efforts. This is achievable through effective operational auditing.
The workshop will cover:
- Current and emerging business trends in operational audits.
- Methods, tools, and skills for collecting and analyzing operational information.
- Operational issues and risk exposures.
- Causes of operational issues and risk exposures.
- Solutions for enhancing the operational performance of activities, processes, and resources.
- Role of Internal Audit in pursuit of operational excellence.
The workshop will be from April 4-5, 2023 virtually via zoom. Charges are KES 10,000 exclusive of VAT. Members in attendance will earn 14 CPE Hours.

The Institute of Internal Auditors Kenya is an accredited training provider with the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA). The NITA registration number is NITA/TRN/558(25b). Participants who are registered levy contributors can apply to NITA for reimbursement of their fees. This applies to Kenyan citizens and is subject to NITA regulations.
