2025 INTERNAL AUDIT AND RISK AWARDS CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Kenya, in collaboration with Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (PSASB) conducts the Internal Audit and Risk Awards annually to recognize organizations and individuals that have achieved high standards in Internal Audit, Governance, Risk Management and Controls. The awards also recognize innovations in the adoption of Global Internal Audit Standards as stipulated in the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF).

The awards recognize organizations and individuals from public, private and not for profit making sectors. The overall categories eligible for all organizations are Internal Audit Function, Risk Management Function and Board Audit Committee of the Year.

Overall Internal Audit of the Year sub-categories include State Corporations, Agencies and Departments, County Assemblies and County Governments, Commissions and Independent Offices, Banks, Insurance Companies, Universities, TVETS, Not for Profit Organizations, NSE Listed Entities and SACCOs.

Categories for Individuals include Chief Audit Executive (CAE) , Chief Executive Officer (CEO) , Head of Risk , Risk Management Officer , Innovative Auditor and Rising Auditor of the Year.

IIA certifications student of the year categories include CIA, CIA challenge, CRMA , IAP and Quality Assessor.

The deadline for applications is March 24, 2025, at 5p.m. East Africa time.

The Awards Gala Dinner will be held on April 11, 2025, to recognize and celebrate the winners.
